We know that because it’s also the desk that we were looking for. Spatial was formed after we realized that a personal design project was actually a perfect fit for many like-minded music creators with the same needs - a flexible production desk made of real wood, with enough rack space for the essentials, a keyboard tray that doesn’t get in the way, a comfortable shelf height for speakers and a screen, and multiple sizes to fit in any workspace. Real wood construction.
Made of the highest quality 1-inch American baltic birch 17-ply void-free plywood. One of the longest parts of our design process, the wood selection was very important to us. It needed to be sturdy, look amazing, and stand the test of time, so we went all out to make the right choice. You won’t find another desk like it.
Cable management.
We’re neat freaks. Ports in the desktop surface and shelf, full width slots across the back, and a slotted shelf for your power supplies and extra cable bundles. The two main concepts behind our cable management were sleek, clean organization, and the ability to push the desk up against a wall without crushing any cables.
The right amount of rack space.
With 3U of rack height, you have enough space for your favorite gear (Luchboxes and Euroracks for all!), and your neck can stay happy from looking straight ahead at your screen. It’s also the perfect height for speakers.
The perfect keyboard tray.
Our 3-bay desk has a tray wide enough for an 88-key keyboard, and the 2-bay has enough room for a 61-key controller. Multiple height and depth adjustment allow you to put the shelf right where you want it, and the knee cut-out makes it comfortable to sit at when you’re not using the keyboard.
Simple assembly.
Unlike many other similar products that will have you cursing and pulling your hair out for hours, our desks are very simple to assemble. They should take around 30 minutes, and you don’t need a degree in physics to make it happen.
